Woah.

Exactly what I needed for my dry spell of bass inspiration.

Saturday, June 27, 2009

Decisions, decisions.

It's so difficult to decide between electric guitar and bass guitar. When I grow up, I'm going to live in a van full of so many of both that it won't even be funny.

No, it'll just be awesome.

Lest I forget.

Rest in peace, Michael. You've been hit by the smoothest criminal.

One of the sexiest guitars ever made.

Yes, John 5 looks kinda strange. But I need his guitar. Alder body (a rarity in Squiers) , 22 frets, pick-up toggle switch on top, and to top it all off, a price-tag of less than 400USD. Looks like Squier's really stepping up their game.

For the first time in a while..

I simply have nothing to say. Imagine that.

The end is nigh!

If you replace every mention of H1N1/swine flu in the newspapers with "zombie infection", you'd probably freak out.

Why are you looking at me like that?

Saturday, June 20, 2009

What's wrong with these people?

"So.. a lot of gay dudes ah?"

Lots of people say that when I tell them that I used to attend a boys school. And just about every time I feel like punching them square in the mouth.

Guess The Song: The Sequel

I did not put my list on shuffle. I just picked the more obscure songs (some much more so than others) and put 'em up here. Have fun.

I've decided that I'm just going to keep adding to this list. Indefinitely.

UPDATE: As of #84, I'm no longer using the only the first lines of songs. Any line goes. And since I'm doing that, I can now repeat songs. Have fun.

You know the drill. Googling will have you banz0red 4ever.

Scores!
Esfern: 31
Justine: 17
Daph: 15
Joanna: 13
Ooi Giap: 5
Luke: 3
Yoong Tat: 4
Cheryl: 1

We're awesome.

Incidentally, we're also half-nude. I will be looking in to this to see if there's some sort of connection.

A plea to the big mobile phone people.

You know what gets on my nerves? It's the fact that mobile phones nowadays can do just about everything but cook your meals (though I hear companies are looking to fix that), but they come with batteries that will last you for three hours or so if you actually use all of their wonderfully addictive features.

Case in point as to how much I live out of my phone: This post, along with many of my other recent posts, has been written on my phone. I also connect to instant messengers, Facebook, Twitter and Gmail from this thing (sometimes all at once). My battery rarely lasts me more than a day. As I type this, my phone is telling me that I have "Low Battery" and is due for another charge.

Curse you, Nokia.

"I'm here because I'm bored!"

Get it right.

If the haze is going to stick around anyway, it should at least get bad enough so that the government shuts down schools.

Pitcher time.

Group photo!

The original League of Completely Ordinary Gentlemen reunited and doing completely ordinary things.

..What, you mean it's just us?

Also, I forgot to mention: We finished the whole 100-bottles-of-beer-on-the-wall song while waiting for one of the rides.

Screaming at all the boring parts.

I normally don't blog about "my day", but today I'll make an exception.

I spent the day in Genting with some friends, and although we didn't have the time to ride all the rides, I have made a significant discovery:

TEACUP RIDES ARE HARDCORE.

Yes, they are. Even more than the Solero Shot. Once again, allow me to illustrate:

Yeah. Pictures when Calvin sends them to me. 'Till then, I'm going to go lie down. Dumb teacup ride.

Just a thought.

Adam Lambert completely ripped off Muse's arrangement of Feeling Good and didn't give them any credit for it.

Work In Progress.

If life were a video game.

Real life needs some progress bars and skill levels like in The Sims. Maybe then I'd start studying seriously.

Also, anyone who cracks a Sim joke at me, I will personally punch in the jeans.

It's hammer time!

Today I was walking through Ikea's showroom holding a hammer I bought from Ace. It was a very, very tempting experience. Allow me to illustrate:

Ah, hammers. The power to both create and destroy.
