Uncommon minds.

Who thinks of these things, anyway? I mean, seriously.

A not-quite-tag worth doing.

Found this on Jon's blog:
The world ends tomorrow. What will you do today?

Well, firstly, do I know that the world ends tomorrow? I suppose I do, or there isn't a point to this.

I'm sure I'd spend most of the day panicking. Afterwards, though, I'd talk the people who matter the most, say some long overdue "I love you"s, and say my goodbyes. Then I'd watch the sun set for the last time while listening to some good music, because if there's anything Titanic taught us, it's that the only way to face impending doom is to do it listening to good music. After that's done, I'd go inside to hide from the widespread pillaging and looting that has undoubtedly broken out in the streets. Maybe I'd finish some of the books I've always wanted to read. Maybe something more. Then the world will end, and I'll get to see what comes next.

Somehow, I don't think there's any way to even near accurately say what I'd do when such a day were to come, but what I can say with some fair certainty is that we will not be given such a polite warning.

Also, you should read Jon's answer; I think I like it better.

"This video is not available in your country."

Malaysia blocks Weezer's "Pork and Beans" video on YouTube. Guess why?*

I demand my music!

*It has the word "pork" in the title. Just in case you're a little slow.

EDIT: Apparently, the infamous "No Pok" video is still up there. Great job, Malaysia; You didn't even do it right.

Rooting for the winner.

Isn't it stupid how so many Malaysians love Obama only now that he's won? Never before the election did I notice anyone saying "I hope Obama wins", "Go Obama!" or anything of the sort. Suddenly, after he's announced President-elect, everyone's going "We love you, Obama!" and "I always knew he'd win!" (and variants).

Also, we live here.

A year already?

Well, that was fast, wasn't it? For the most part, anyway. Yep, that's about all I have to say for now. Back to doing absolutely nothing.

Ah. Bliss.
