Musical diversity.

I've been listening to a lot of new bands lately, trying to diversify my taste in music (and lengthen my playlist). That's why I need your help (Yes, you!) in suggesting new bands/artists that I should be listening to. It doesn't have to be rock, which is mostly what I listen to. That's the point see? Drop a comment here, if you're so inclined. Try not to use the Cbox, because it'll probably get lost before I get down to looking for whatever it is you told me to look for.

Something totally different from ur everyday music, the band Peter bjorn and john.

Mainstream, catchy music? The Ting Tings...

"N.E.R.D"..thats the king of catchy tunes..

Trust me. If Musical diversity is what u want, these bands got it. Have a listen at it. If ur ever planning to compose anything, these music will show u that the sky's the limit.

I sound like some radio commercial but i shall continue

For a break from all those odd music, u should listen to the album "Version" by Mark Ronson

ps: 1)The Ting Tings is kinda corny..but catchy.....it makes them stand out
2)And for "Peter Bjorn and John"..i recommended it only because it's totally different.

I've got many more but i decided not to throw them out at once.

I saw 8 comments and got curious, heh, so yeah, here goes.

The Fratellis:
-Chelsea Dagger
-My Friend John
-Henrietta
-Cigarello
-The Gutterati?
-Dirty Barry Stole The Bluebird
-Headcase
-Baby's Got a Brand New Secondhand Disguise
-Boy Done Good
-The Pimp

The Shins:
-Australia
-Kissing The Lipless
-Know Your Onion

The Beach Boys:
-Don't Worry Baby
-Wouldn't It Be Nice
-Fun Fun Fun
-I Get Around

and I'd say every song by The Beatles except for those...uh, interesting songs from the albums 'Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band' and 'Yellow Submarine' like 'March of The Meanies' or something. Personally, I prefer their older songs like 'I Saw Her Standing There', 'Anna', 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand', 'Do You Want To Know a Secret', 'Obladi, Oblada', 'Help!', 'Eleanor Rigby', 'Ticket To Ride', 'A Hard Day's Night', 'Can't Buy Me Love' and 'Twist And Shout'

Okay, that's all I can think of at the moment. Let me know what you think.
